Every Monday for the 2018/19 season we will be remembering an ex-cobbler who has played for us and the opponents of that Saturdays game. We will be showing you their record and their story. We will be asking you for your memories of that player. We will also be asking you to nominate a player for Cobblers Past Ex-Cobbler of the Week.
FACTS

When the Cobblers dropped back into division four Dave Bowen brought him to Northampton
He struggled to find the back of the net until he was selected to play against his old club Exeter City in the F. A. Cup and scored the winner.
2 ½. Years after joining the Cobblers he joined Lincoln City for £15,000, £10,000 more than the Cobbler’s paid for him.
