*Barry Hines author of ‘Kez’ played football for Crawley Town during the 1961-62 season.

*Goalkeeper John Maggs made 400 appearances for the club as well as serving them as a chairman, manager, Chief executive and stadium manager from 1963-1998.

* During the 2003-2004 season Crawley won the Southern League with a 12 pooints lead and went on to beat Moors Green in the League Cup.

*Tony Jarvie was player manager in the 1950’s and was also a qualified vet, and later appeared on ‘Blue Peter’ as the resident vet.

* Dean Saunders and John Hollis have managed the club.
