The Cobblers boss reflects on Saturday's visit from Walsall
Cobblers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was a happy man as he reflected on Saturday’s home win over Walsall.
“The atmosphere was magnificent today and I thank the fans for that,” he said.
"The support from the fans was great and that is ever so important.
“Chris Long has been working ever so hard and I’m pleased for him. Today he got rewarded and he deserved it.
“I took a big risk in playing John-Joe O'Toole and then keeping him on for the 90 minutes because I think as a team we need him. His presence is very important and hopefully he will be alright for Blackburn.”
