Young striker to join National League North side

Northampton Town striker Leon Lobjoit has joined National League North side Nuneaton Town on a month's loan. The move comes after Lobjoit completed a successful month on loan at Evo-Stik South side Corby Town, and Cobblers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said the next step in his development is to move up a level for this latest loan. "Leon did really well at Corby and his month there was a big success," he said. "He played some games and scored some goals and helped Corby out in the process. "The next step for him is to move up a level with Nuneaton. "We feel this is a good move for him at the right time and as we did at Corby, we will monitor his progress closely."

Meanwhile Joe Iaciofano has extended his loan spell at Chesham United into a second month, with the Cobblers having a 24 hour recall option on the young striker
