Summer Transfer window 2018


At the close of last season, the Cobblers had the matter of a manger to find. On May 12th, 2018 Dean Austin Signed on the dotted line on a 2-year contract. After his success at the end of last season.


Dean made his first signing of the summer on 21stMay of former Doncaster striker Andy Williams on a 2-year contract. Andy has played for many clubs including Hereford, Bristol Rovers, Yeovil, Swindon and Doncaster in total played over 160 games and scoring over 115 goals.


Dean made his second signing of the season on 9thJuly and made a defensive addition with the signing of former Wolves defender Hakeem Odoffin who signed a 2-year contract for the Cobblers. While at wolves Odoffin went on loan to Eastleigh and made over 21 appearances.


Dean made his third signing on the 13thJuly 2018, The Cobblers signed former Peterborough United Striker Junior Morias. Who has played for many clubs including Wycombe, Hendon, Boreham Wood, Whitehawks, St. Albans and Peterborough. Made over 30 appearances for Peterborough and scoring over 10 goals.


Dean Made his fourth signing after the Pre-Season win over Manchester United X1 on the 27thJuly 2018, The Cobblers signed Reading fc goalkeeper Lewis ward on a season long loan. Lewis has played for Sutton, Whitehawks, Margate, Hungerford, Aldershot and Reading. Lewis is an experienced goalkeeper.


The Cobblers have however have seen some outgoings with Goalkeeper Richard O’Donnell activated his clause in his contract and signed for Bradford City.


Joe Bunney has gone on a season loan to League One side Blackpool F.C.

On deadline day the Cobblers held on too many key players who will play a big part of this seasons campaign.
